7/10: An Above-Average Horse Opera...

An Above-Average Horse Opera with Gorgeous Scenery Director Michael Feifer's third western shoot'em up "Catch The Bullet," starring Jay Pickett, Peter Facinelli, and Tom Skerritt, shares something in common with his two earlier horse operas "A Soldier's Revenge" (2020) and "Wyatt Earp's Revenge" (2012). Feifer filmed all three on location in scenic wide-open spaces that clearly reflect his reverence for this untamed frontier. Watching the breathtaking landscape sweep beneath us as lenser Hank Baumert Jr.'s camera drones cruise above the sprawling mosaic of mountains, deserts, and streams enhances not only the epic splendor of this western, but it also dwarfs the horsemen threading through it. Specifically, Feifer shot "Catch The Bullet" at the TA Guest Ranch in Buffalo, Wyoming. If you're searching for a vacation destination that would plunge you into the past, the TA Guest Ranch seems perfect. Historically, this venerable ranch lay within the arena of the notorious Johnson County...

1/10: This movie is SO BAD...

This movie is SO BAD!! CRINGEWORTHY This is the WORST movie ever. It's insulting to call this abomination a western. Cowboys and Indians everywhere should be insulted. This movie was SO PAINFUL to watch. The acting is CRINGEWORTHY--especially the inept guy playing the "native" tracker. The wardrobe was ridiculous-from the absurd Halloween costumes adoring the "Sioux warriors", to the Walmart clothes, to the white-top modern cowboy boots on Chaska-looks like all the cast members had to bring their own wardrobe. The FX's are juvenile. The riding scene (upper body only) between the 2 characters was SO FAKE and ridiculous-the scene could have been shot better using a iPhone and selfie stick. The dialogue, storyline, writing, and stunts are HORRIBLE. Set Designers (if there were any) should be shot-since when does a Wyoming western ranch house in the late 1800's have white PVC windows, doors and concrete cylinder deck footings? And what...

1/10: Seriously? I started watching this...

Seriously? I started watching this because of Peter. Facinelli. It might've rated a Hallmark channel after school special, (a little too much dramatic music for no reason) but I was immediately confused about what century it was in. Thinking it was an ole west genre', I was struck by the modern door, and the red naugahyde on the relatively modern bent cane chairs on the porch, not to mention the concrete foundation. Moving along, it was fair until he flashes "back" (to the future?) to when his wife is killed, which takes place at a house that again has modern beautiful glass doors, electric lights, modern furniture in the living room, and blinds on the obviously modern windows. And was the dead husband supposed to be scalped??? It looked like tomato sauce on a bald head! It's completely apparent that no thought at all was given to the props in this movie and the way it might come...

Easily the worst movie of the year! Full of annoying overuse scene, and abysmal action scene! Bored to freaking death! This film start with a marshal "Britt" scare off a bunch of horses, and he confronted with a few men scene! As turnout, this film is about Britt need to save his son "Chad" from a villain "Jed"! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the riding horse scene, overuse of the annoying sound effect scene, overuse of the arguing scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the running scene, overuse of the long angle scenery scene, overuse of the hiding scene, and overuse of the campfire scene! Make the film unwatchable! All the shooting scene have blood at certain point, but overall portray by sideways, just hear the gunshot sound, super messy, and occur in too short of time! Make the film frustrated to watch...

1/10: Bottom line, this movie is...

Bottom line, this movie is terrible 👎🏾 I've read the reviews and I agree, the movie was pretty bad. Most of the actors were pretty rough around the edge. The mix of accredited actors did not help this movie, but those familiar faces did get me to watch. First, the sheriff rolls up on three outlaws and they let him just walk up?! The long haired dude doesn't have a gun? That's crazy!! Three outlaws and one lawman, but all three outlaws die -yeah right!! 😳Who gets off their horse in a dangerous place to have a sip of water? He should've been killed. That was just ignorant! The eye on the rock scene was poorly shot or edited or both. The main villain was not the best actor - or maybe the script was poorly written or both 😂.Never saw the Indians up close. Were they really Native Americans?I would be highly upset if...
